Good Morning Darlings!
Hope you had a perfect weekend. Ours was fabulous. Eric & I saw Yacht Rock on Friday Night at Park Tavern under the stars, ate at Tantra Saturday night (more on that later) and lazed about all day Sunday watching a Party Down marathon.
Oh, I guess you are tuning in to see the answer to Friday’s quiz?
Lets get on with it.
Good Morning Darlings!
The weather is getting warmer, and you know what that means – more parties!
Our darling friend and neighbor, Melanie threw the first hootenanny of the season. Don’t you love that word, hootenanny? Me, too.
Melanie is good at it, too! With the cutest handmade signs and every type of chip and jello shot known to Western civilization, it was time to party! And party we did!
Good Morning Darlings!
I have been way behind on my correspondence with you. May I make it up to you by posting some lovely photos of our Easter soiree?
Good Morning Darlings!
It’s here! Prince William and Kate’s big day. If you are throwing a royal bash, you are going to want to mix up a pan of Prince William’s favorite treat.
Thanks to the nice folks over at Daily Candy for the recipe.
Prince William’s Chocolate Crunch Cake
Serves eight
Ingredients
For the cake
1 box graham crackers
¼ c. raisins
¼ c. nuts, chopped
5 oz. dark chocolate
5 oz. milk chocolate
1 stick butter, room temp.
1 14-oz. can condensed milk
For the topping
5 oz. dark chocolate
1 tsp. milk
1. In a large metal bowl, crumble graham crackers into bite-size pieces. Add raisins and nuts.
2. In a saucepan, melt chocolates, butter, and milk. Stir frequently so chocolate doesn’t burn.
3. Add melted mixture to crackers and stir until dispersed.
4. Line an 11-by-7-inch pan with waxed paper. Pour mixture into pan; spread evenly. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
5. For the topping, combine ingredients in a saucepan; stir until melted.
6. Remove cake from fridge and cover with topping. Cut into squares and serve.
Enjoy!
xoxo, Patti
