Good Morning Darlings!

Happy Friday!

What did you do last night?

An Antico Feast

Good Morning Darlings!

I am blessed with ridiculously good fortune. Or maybe it’s because of my pollyanna attitude that I see my life through rose colored glasses. Either way. Amazing experiences happen to me a lot.

One of those times happened last week in an invitation from Miss Tinsley to attend a Tinsley Tasting at Antico Pizza.

But this was not a pizza dinner. Oh no. So much more.

What happened that afternoon at Antico?

Good Morning Darlings!

Last week my sweet friend, Patricia Tinsley, who knows everybody, invited me to a tasting at Atlanta’s own Imperial Fez. Of course I jumped at the chance to visit the emporium of low seated booths draped in silk and filled with exotic belly dancers. I picked out an appropriate outfit (no shoes necessary, you take them off when you get there so you could show up with flip flops on and no one would notice), realized I was the first from our party to get there and was led to our gorgeous seating area.

Just like being in the movie Casablanca, without the long flight.

Enjoy an exotic evening with me!

Good Morning, Darlings!

Yesterday was filled with adventure! I met one of my darling friends for a peek at a project he is working on and it is going to thrill! But I can’t share just yet. But here’s a little tease for you.

Come on in, I’ve been waiting for you!

Urban Picnic

Monday, March 29th, 2010

Good Morning, Darlings!

I had the good fortune to attend our city’s Urban Picnic this past Friday in support of Food Trucks in Atlanta. The event was held curbside at The Sweet Auburn Curb Market, one of Atlanta’s oldest operating markets.

It was a lovely event meant to raise awareness of what we could be enjoying on a regular basis like other cities.  Cities like Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Chicago. All the major metropolises seem to possess what seems to be a daunting task here in Atlanta. But the Atlanta Street Food Coalition has taken on this task on behalf of all food lovers in our fair town.
