Good Morning Darlings!
My friend Sandra just let me in on the most fab event!
Good Morning Darlings!
I know I really should post more recipes, but I’ve been very busy.
Now, I know that is a terrible excuse, so today I hope to make it up to you.
Good Morning Darlings!
I am still dreaming of Easter entertaining. We will have a small group of friends over for dinner (when I told Eric we were hosting 20pp, he was a bit surprised. My answer? “It is small compared to 175 for the Christmas Party!”) God bless my husband for putting up with my antics.
Anyhoo, I am still poring over ideas for our special spring soiree. Take a look and see what I’ve found.
Good Morning Darlings!
When I arrived home from St. Simons yesterday, this precious package was waiting for me. I think this is the best idea for Easter. Especially those of us with no children.
Good Morning Darlings!
Eric and I bought a Flip camera a few weeks ago with the hopes of making some fun videos.
Cooking videos, you naughty children!! lol
I would like to share our first offering. Chef Jeffrey Gardner of South City Kitchen and Food Network’s Chopped, came by to teach me how to cook in a tajine. The tajine was sent to me by our friends at Beka.
Good Morning Darlings!
If you are anything like me, you are very excited about the royal wedding coming up in April. I remember watching the wedding of Charles and Diana and I am no less thrilled to witness the upcoming nuptials of William and Kate.
I have a sneak peek into their world today!
Good Morning Darlings!
Although my birthday was in February, my dear friends over at Cake Hag have been trying to get my birthday cake to me.
I got it this weekend. The only stipulation? I had to guess what the cake was filled with.
Good Morning Darlings!
My life is truly wonderful. I have an amazing husband, two adorable dogs, friends that fill my heart, a lovely, cozy home and a soft bed on which to lay my sleepy head each night.
Wait, you do, too? How marvelous! But it’s not something we think about each day, is it? I have never had much adversity to overcome, my middle class upbringing was pretty much like living in Mayberry and my loving parents kept me safe and warm, buying me anything I needed, including cute clothes and the newest styles of shoes. I received a car at 16, went to college and never pondered where my next meal is coming from. I married a man who loves me without fail and always shows it.
It’s astonishing to think that my reality is someone else’s dream. A dream that has been thwarted again and again by abuse, by poverty, by unrealized ambition.
Good Morning Darlings!
Remember when I went to the Chic Boutique tour this past Winter? It’s baaaaaaaaack!
