Good Morning Darlings!
How I love getting a package in the mail…you know, brown paper packages tied up with string. Or packing tape. Either way.
Kahlua came knocking on my door this week. Let’s mix up some libations!
As Easter is approaching, I’m thinking what I will serve as our guests arrive on Sunday afternoon. Since Easter is all about sweets, Kahlua is just the ticket for cocktails. An Espresso Martini is always in fashion, so let me give you the recipe and you can wow your friends, too!
Kahlúa Espresso Martini
Ingredients:
1.5 parts Kahlúa
1 part ABSOLUT VODKA
1 fresh brewed espresso
How to mix it: Fill a shaker with ice, add Kahlúa, ABSOLUT VODKA and a fresh brewed espresso. Shake vigorously, and strain into a chilled martini glass.
The only challenge is that they go down so easily, you will not realize you have imbibed too many until you get up to walk to the dinner table. So keep an eye on your guests. It just will not do to have them fall face first into the roast lamb. Enjoy responsibly.
xoxo, Patti
