Good Morning Darlings!
Being one of the party experts at Swoozie’s has its perks. This week I got to run amok in their store, picking up goodies for an Easter shoot. There are so many cute things!
But the real fun began when I arrived home.
Armed with a big bunch of purple tulips, grass I’ve been growing for a month especially for the Easter table, and lots of candy, I decided to create a table with nothing but sweets. Why not? It’s my fantasy Easter party!
By using a brightly colored madras tablecloth as my base, I went to work. With all of Swoozie’s oh-so-cute accessories, it was easy. Cut out felt chargers were placed under my white dinner plates. You could put plain white paper under them and let the kids trace fun patterns.
A large polka dot mug serves as the vase for my sweet, purple tulips, while the grass I grew anchors the precious note cards I put into use as place holders. Putting pink peeps on skewers completes the look.
And don’t you just adore the salad bowl? I thought of using it for salad, but picked up some pastel colored caramel corn as I was checking out at Swoozie’s and thought that would be so much more festive. The bunny ear salad servers totally kick up the fun factor!
How about some eggs? You could offer your guests deviled eggs on the bunny egg platter, but I chose Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs. Nom Nom Nom…
Wait? Not enough candy yet? These bunny mini-bowls hold just enough jelly beans and would make a perfect gift for your guests to take away after the party. I can’t get enough of all the polka dots!
Hoppy Easter, my bunnies!
xoxo, Patti
