Name That Thing!

Written by Patti on September 12th, 2011

Good Morning Darlings!

I trust that you all had a marvelous weekend. We spent ours at a fab resort in the north Georgia mountains, but more on that later.

Can you name this thing?

What are these things?

The last one was much tougher than this one. Can you guess?

Answer up tomorrow!

hmmm…. First, I never saw the answer for the last one, and I looked! What was it?

Second, some of these look like the segmenters (for lack of a better word) that they used back in the 70’s when they would serve you half a grapefruit at Denny’s-type restaurants, for breakfast. All you had to do was take your little grapefruit spoon and scoop the already-segmented portions of grapefruit out. I think they doubled as individual jello salad popsicle molds in the afternoon…. preferably before they wore them (See below)

The ones that don’t look like this look like pressed biscuit cutters.

Lastly, if these aren’t used for any of these purposes, I say they wore them on the soles of their shoes down in Florida to catch the giant roaches in or just to make weird, clattering noises.
