Good Morning Darlings!
Happy Monday – the first Monday of December. Which means lots of celebrating is around the bend.
If you’ve been with me a while, you know brunch is one of my favorite ways to entertain. Whether in the morning or the wee hours after a black tie gala, bacon, eggs and brunchy foods make everyone happy.
I love this new article by Kate Williams at Southern Kitchen telling you how to put it all together. Visit her here to learn how you can do the same!
Brunch works anytime of the day!
Now get to brunching, my loves!
xoxo, Patti

Good Morning Darlings!
Argh – I feel like I’ve neglected you this Halloween season. And you know I adore you.
How about this? Pumpkins are soo….well, they’re still cool, but I really love pineapples. And my friends at Southern Kitchen are using them to make jack o’lanterns. How fun is that?
Happy Pina Colada!
You can read the how to here. And browse the site. My good friend, Chef Jeffrey is the star of their fab cooking videos.
Off to buy a pineapple!
xoxo, Patti

Good Morning Darlings,
My friend Sherry shared this on Facebook and not only are they fabulous for Halloween, they look easy to make and tasty too (if you can get past the creepiness – is that a word?)
Anyhoo, get the deets here at Genius Kitchen and amaze your friends. These are awesome.
They’re so creepy!!!
I need these in my life. How about you?

Good Morning Darlings,
With all the summer parties still to come, you’ll want your tables to look festive.
I love a pretty tablecloth but want it to look perfect without ironing. You, too?
Enter, TableVogue. I swear by these. Truly. Open up your six foot folding table and throw it on. Voila! You look like the perfect hostess. Saving you more time to pick out the perfect party dress. Or have that cocktail before the crowds descend. I don’t judge.
How perfectly pretty is this?
Buy these stunners here. And they didn’t even pay me to tell you about them. I love them that much.
xoxo, Patti

Good Morning Darlings,
Still crushing on Easter – only 1 more day!
If you are looking for inspiration, here are a couple of my favorite blog post about my favorite spring day. Enjoy!
It’s a Swoozie’s Easter!
Easter With The Fam
Peeping Easter
I’ll leave you with a link to the lemon meringue pie I’ll be making on Sunday. The recipe is by my sweet friend, Brookie Lark, who created the Anatomy of A Dinner Party logo and makes everyone swoon with her famous blog, Cheeky Kitchen. I LOVE Brooke.
Isn’t this pie a beauty? Thanks Brookie!!
Happy Easter my Bunnies!

Good Morning Darlings!
Easter is right around the corner. I LOVE Easter – all the pretty colors, the nice weather, the leftover ham. What’s not to love?
My favorite thing is to set the table. I attended a meeting this week at 14th Street Antiques and Modern Home and wowza, do they have gorgeous things to set the table with. Take a gander, my little geese.
All that glitters, might be gold!
Swimming in glamour.
Always welcome your guests with a drink.
And for all you Easter fans like me, there’s even a sale on all things spring and gilded. Love.
Color me glitter!
Go visit my fabulous friend Lisa over at 14th Street Antiques and Modern Home and tell her I sent you. You could spend the entire day in there.
xoxo, Patti

Good Morning Darlings!
Happy 2017 to you all. Hope your celebrations were fabulous and safe.
We threw a tiny party for 8. The menu:
Cheese & Salami Platter with Sea Salt Crackers & Holman & Finch Semolina Bread
Caviar Service with fresh buckwheat blini, sour cream and chives
Veggie lasagna
Salad filled with olives, artichokes, bermuda onions topped with a lemon basil dressing
Garlic Bread
Assorted Cupcakes
More than our share of Segura Viudas Cava
Table Decor provided by my friends at TLC Rents. I chose a purple and gold theme. Purple tablecloth with a gold sequined overlay. Purple napkins. Tons of votives. And for extra interest, small plastic dinosaurs were placed all around the table. Always opt for whimsy when you can. Look around the house – you will surprise yourself.
Since our party was so tiny, I decided not to post any photos of the guests. But – you can see the table below.
It’s like you are right there next to me!
Tell me about your night!
xoxo, Patti

Good Morning Darlings!
I love Halloween. Not only is the dressing up fun, but CANDY! And not only candy, but all kinds of adorable treats.
This past weekend we went to a Halloween Baby Shower for our friends Laura and Evan. That was a first. Tons of fun. Our fabulous friends, Paige and Alex dressed their 3 yr. old son, Lucien up as Michael Meyers. Which I thought was hilarious.
Here’s our photo together.
How awesome (and scary) is this little killer?
Are you looking for a new, easy, adorable recipe to feed your party guests? How about this Hocus Pocus inspired smores pop? The folks at Delish have got it going on.
I need these. Well, I don’t actually NEED them, but I sure would love to have one. 🙂
Love these!
Let me know if you make them and how they turn out!
BOO!
xoxo, Patti

Good Morning Darlings!
Is Valentining a thing? It is now!
How will you celebrate? E and I like to stay home away from the crowds and cook a romantic meal together. Complete with cocktails, of course.
Flirtini – isn’t that a fun name? It just makes me want to kiss and hug my sweetie! Here’s the recipe:
FLIRTINI
Time to get your flirt on!
2 oz. Van Gogh Raspberry Vodka
Splash of cranberry juice
Chilled Champagne
Float with champagne chilled to the top of the glass.
My friends at
Van Gogh Vodka are always on the cutting edge of yummy cocktails with their flavored vodkas. Love them!
Oooh, and who doesn’t love chocolate? A Chocolate Almond Kiss would do the trick!
Chocolate Almond Kiss – with extra kisses!
CHOCOLATE ALMOND KISS
2 oz. Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate Vodka
1 oz. Hazelnut Liqueur
1/2 oz. Dark Crème de Cacao
Splash of Cream
Shake vodka, hazelnut liqueur and dark crème de cacao into a cocktail shaker with ice. Top with a splash of cream and garnish with a sprig of mint.
For dinner, I’m thinking a nice spaghetti, like in Lady and The Tramp.
Little candlelight, some nice pasta. Amore!
What are your plans?
xoxo, Patti
