Did you guess correctly?
Here’s what these are for:
Made circa 1890 by Joseph Rogers & Sons, this delightful antique silver plated serve all set, comprises of a cake knife and fork, pair of grape shears, and two pairs of nutcrackers, all with ornate decoration. The box measures 15 inches (38cm) wide, by 6 inches (15cm) deep, and the cake knife measures 11.75 inches (30cm) in length.
Grape shears? Maybe for clipping the grapes off the vine? Or maybe just to snip off a grape or two.
xoxo, Patti
