How about this for Dad? Does he love motorcycles? Harley Davidsons? This is for him.
Just like Peter Fonda in Five Easy Pieces!
Atlanta, GA (June 2011)- Looking for something fun to do with Dad to really show him how much he means to you? Come to Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta for a Father’s Day Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 19.
Remind Dad how important he is at the Father’s Day Brunch, where the normal Sunday Brunch menu has been altered to ensure Dad will get his favorite foods. There will be a buffet with two carving stations, mashed potatoes, delicious vegetables and tons of Dad’s favorite manly sides.
Father’s Day shifts into fifth gear as Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson in Conyers will be providing four motorcycles for the event just for Dad’s entertainment! Two motorcycles will be on display at Park 75, and with a valid motorcycle license and proper clothes [long sleeves, long pants and leather shoes], two of these Harley-Davidson motorcycles will be available for test drive with Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson’s Sales and Promotions Director Joseph “Guido” Cardillo.
If you think your dad deserves something special this Father’s Day, give him a unique day that he is sure to remember for years to come! Cost is $65 per person, including complimentary valet parking. For reservations, call (404) 253-3840 or visit www.OpenTable.com.
Campo Viejo recently contacted me to ask if I would like to participate in a wine tasting. Why, of course I would!
Last night they answered questions in real time while we sipped and ate. Melanie made a perfect roast chicken with roasted potatoes and scrumptious collard greens.
My life is pretty breezy most of the time. I try not to let too many things bother me and when they do, I try to figure out how to best handle it.
When I heard that my precious friend Melanie had lost someone very close to her, it made my heart ache. How do you fix that?
Mellie’s friend Charlane was a marvelous blogger. And although I had never met her, I was moved by her posts. They were all so whimsical and charming. I bet you would love her, too. Take a look at one of her last posts here.
Oh, you know how we are here in the south. We have to make sure everyone is fed. And fed well.
One night not so long ago, we had our dear friend, Johnny P. over for supper. I made meatloaf. To feed about 20. You never know how hungry men will be. Or who might stop by.
Everyone in the south knows the only fabric that will keep you looking cool and fresh in this terrible heat is seersucker. It looks wonderful on both men and women and the season for it is now.
What else would you wear to that garden party with your precious hat?
