I love fried chicken. On Tuesday night here at the house I tried to fry some chicken for some friends. How did it go? I dang near burned the house down trying to fry chicken. It was wildly embarrassing. We ended up grabbing take out. See? It’s not all glam parties at my house. Every once in a while we have a clunker. But sparkling conversation made up for my kitchen gaffes and my husband’s running out to grab edible eats saved the night.

I was fortunate to be gifted with a lovely evening of dining at STK Atlanta and seeing Thomas Dolby at The Loft on Monday night.
Oh, what a wonderful time we had. Our server was Fred and he took the most amazing care of us. Hakim, the manager, was most charming as well.

I am obsessed with zombies. I just cannot help myself. Since childhood, I have loved all things that go bump in the night. My favorite cartoon was the Groovy Ghoulies. As much as I loved Bandstand and Soul Train, Saturday was never complete without Creature Feature. And you just couldn’t have a slumber party without a gaggle of screaming girls watching old Bela Lugosi flicks. It just wouldn’t be the same.
