Cookbookery Club – Ole!

Written by Patti on April 10th, 2012

Good Morning Darlings!

It’s Cookbookery Time again! What did we make this month?

Our theme was Mexican cooking. I’m pretty sure there was a cookbook we were supposed to follow, but I got busy and forgot and then just made a batch of mushroom tamales to take.

And then there were all those shots of lovely Milagro tequila that our host Charlie kept pouring.

Don’t judge me.

And now, for the photos!

Cheesy stuffed peppers. MMMMM.

Tostones!

Reeves finds just the right record.

The boys show off their mad dance moves:

Byron cuts a rug.

Reeves shakes a leg.

My honey can boogie with the best of them. Beer helps.

That didn't last long.

Every time we get together it's an international feast.

Eric and I having some fun.

Byron plays DJ next and picks some classic Herb Alpert.

Charlie made some lovely chicken soup, which he served up to mama-to-be, Michelle.

My new friend, June.

Our group. Not sure what my husband is doing there....

Time for a tiny siesta.

It was a great night to sit by an outdoor fire.

Stephanie and Reeves kick back and relax.

While Charlie did some pickin' on the banjo.

It was a perfect evening. A million thanks to Charlie and Colleen for hosting.

Next month – we go on a picnic! Stay tuned.

xoxo, Patti
