Snackety Snack

Written by Patti on August 18th, 2011

Good Morning Darlings!

Every once in a while you just need a little something to nosh on.

Sometimes I want my snack to be more than chips or a cookie. Something fresh, something hot from the oven, but quick, too.

Here’s my new favorite snack – Alexia Sweet Potato Puffs. These little darlings just hit stores nationwide this summer and are a great, all-natural addition to any summer meal. Plus, with the natural nutrients of sweet potatoes, they’re an absolute guilt-free treat!

These tasty, bite-sized puffs can go from freezer to table in less than 20 minutes. Om nom nom. I can wait 20 minutes!

These tiny snacks are so tasty!

Your local Publix or Kroger should carry them, so go on – go get some! These will be in my snacky repertoire for football season. Come on Autumn!!

xoxo, Patti

Yum! I love Alexia potato products, so I can’t wait to try these.

  2. Lisa says:

I slice a banana lengthwise, spread on some peanut butter, then slice into 1 inch “sandwich” bites. Wrap each piece in cling wrap and freeze. Sweet, savory, potassium and protein and about 50 calories.

  3. Clint says:

I love sweet potatoes! And a factoid: The sweet potato is not related to regular potatoes, but rather the Morning Glory. Weird that I know that. OK… Off to Kroger to grab some of these.

  4. Millie says:

    Hey Spin!
I saw these in Earth Fare here in Tally the other day and started to get me some, I don’t know why I didn’t but Earth Fare is way less than 20 minutes from my house so I’m going back to get me some!

Now, for my favorite snack, which I actually was eating while I came and read your blog, is ice cream (today’s choice was Publix’s Limited Edition Whopper Ice cream), with Chocolate Chip morsels and chocolate syrup! Oh yeah, go ahead and say it; nothing near a 50 calorie banana snack by My Oh My! So good that I went home on my lunch hour and fixed it “to go”! Good to talk to you while you and Holly were driving back from the Ritz; you girls are livin’ the high life!

    Love ya, Milster
