For The Love of Ginger

Written by Patti on June 1st, 2011

Good Morning Darlings!

I love ginger. I love ginger so much that I am now officially a redhead.

But today I am talking about a very exotic ginger….

What could be more ginger than my red hair? Domaine de Canton, of course. Have you not tried this? I insist you run out right now and buy a bottle. Oh.My.Golly. It is amazing. It is so amazing, that I mixed up a super simple cocktail for the girls the other night while the boys were playing poker and we seriously could have drained the bottle. It’s that good.

As always, enjoy responsibly.

How to keep it simple and delicious? Here you go:

Ginger Sans MaryAnne (here on Gilligan’s Island!)
(Ok, so the name is dumb, but it made me giggle)

1 oz of Domaine de Canton (more if you are feeling adventurous)
Reed’s Ginger Beer to top off

Fill glass with ice. Pour in Canton. Top with ginger beer.

Drink, but try not to be greedy. Make another and sit on the porch.

I also tried this with ginger ale, but it wasn’t gingery enough for me.

If you like ginger, you simply cannot miss with this refreshing cocktail.

I see many in my future!

xoxo, Patti

Yum. One of my favourite cocktails in the world is a gingery one at the Manhattan Club in Athens.
