Good Morning Darlings!
With Easter just four short days away, have you selected your menu? Thought about table decor? Invited your guests? Thought about cocktails?
At our house we are paring down the work. Eric and I will prepare the two legs of lamb and a spiral cut ham, along with two lemon curd cakes. With 20 friends coming, we have asked everyone to bring something so no one is overwhelmed.
No one = Me.
There will be copious amounts of wine and with the way my rose bushes are pumping out roses like it’s some sort of factory, that takes care of the flowers for the table. John is also crafting something adorable for the table.
Lets revisit last year’s soiree to get some inspiration. Although I am not making any paper flowers, we will still put up the tent. Maybe. However will I get 20 people under a 10×10 tent? And criminy, I don’t have 20 matching dishes. Or 20 matching wine glasses for that matter.
Uh oh.
Keep drinking my dear guests, keep drinking. Then no one will notice…..
