Time to Wine

Written by Patti on November 23rd, 2010

Good Morning Darlings!

I trust by now you have the turkey thawing (or have made arrangements – perhaps with Black Tie Barbecue for one of their mouthwatering smoked turkeys? Call 404.840.9256 to see if they have just one more they can put aside for you. This is what I am doing this year…shhhh, it’s just between us.)

They are not fooling around here, y’all!

Our friend Carly, from Turning Leaf Wines, sent me this invaluable information recently and I have to share with you. They have set up a help line. And, no, this is not your mother’s Butterball Help Line. Not only can you get help with your food questions, but also, your wine questions – isn’t that swell? I just enjoyed a couple glasses of their jammy merlot last night. The perfect wine for your guests. I love wine!

More details for you:

The holiday season is upon us, and if you’re looking for a great resource to help your readers find fresh ideas for at-home entertaining, try the Turning Leaf Holiday Hotline (1-877-TLWINE-3). Automated tips will be available 24-hours a day offering instant entertaining advice from experts on everything from how to pair wine with your meal to what to do when 20 people RSVP to your dinner party when your table only seats 10. They’ll even suggest ways on how to pass off pre-prepared foods as your own (actually 34% of Americans do it!*).

And from November 20-22 the hotline will feature live-access to the experts including Turning Leaf winemaker, Nicole Hitchcock; lifestyle and entertaining expert, Robyn Moreno; and wine expert, Maureen Petrosky. They will be available to answer questions about wine pairings, menu refreshers, and even what to do with your leftovers! See below for more information.

Turning Leaf Holiday Hotline:
· 24-hour automated tips: November 1 – December 31, 2010
· Live chat: November 20 – 22 from 2:00 – 8:00pm EST

It’s available 24 hours – that’s insane! So, if you are up in the middle of the night, fretting about your menu and playing video games, give Turning Leaf a call. They will be right there to help. So you can get back to sleep or playing Mario, or whatever you are doing at 2 a.m. I don’t judge.

xoxo, Patti
